From 5th June to 7th June 2023, three experts from Fraunhofer Institute for Production Technology, Germany, together with HKPC, conducted a three-day Industry 4.0 maturity assessment of Hongrida Group's Zhongshan base.
Factory Tour
On the first day of the evaluation, Mr. Liang, Special Assistant to the CEO & Director of Human Resources Department, introduced Hongrita Group's history and technology development history to the experts. In the subsequent on-site visit, we showed the experts the data centre and flexible production line of the mould factory and component factory as well as the digital intelligent demonstration workshop in Zhongshan City, and led the experts to visit the site of each department to learn about the operation mode and working order of the factory, which comprehensively presented Hongrita's industrial 4.0 maturity assessment. Communication Interview
In the morning of 6th to 7th June, the experts conducted interviews with key departments of the two factories. From the workflow to the use and display of system data, the experts conducted in-depth communication with each department to fully understand the operation process of each key node, how to achieve interaction and communication through the system, and how to use the system data to analyse and improve and solve problems.
Evaluation Recommendations
At 14:30 on 7th June, through two and a half days of evaluation, the German expert group unanimously recognised that Hongrita had reached the 1i level in the field of Industry 4.0, and put forward valuable suggestions for Hongrita's future 1i to 2i:
In the recent years of high quality development, Hongrita already has a perfect information management system and mature equipment integration technology, and has the level of Industry 4.0-1i. In the future, Hongrita Group can continue to strengthen the upgrading and development of digitisation, and build a more mature Industry 4.0 level based on 1i, and strengthen the application of digitisation system towards the 2i level with the "closed-loop thinking". With the "closed-loop thinking", the company will strengthen the application of digitalisation system and move towards the goal of 2i and even higher level.
Blessing Signing
German experts and HKPC consultants left their blessings and signatures on the background board of 35th anniversary of Hongrita, leaving a colourful footprint for the Group's 35th anniversary.
