Industrial products always demand durable polymers with low-cost and robust structures. With over 20 years of experience in building multi-component tools and producing industrial products, Hongrita is specialized in overmolding and is proud of its self-developed turn-table and side-injection system that optimizes the versatility of our standard single-shot molding machines to cope with the needs of two-shot and three-shot molding processes.
Besides TPE, the using of Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR) overmolds Thermoplastic has become a trend in recent years for industrial products, especially for those applications operating in extreme environments. Needless to explain the advantages of LSR over TPE, Hongrita is knowledgeable about building bi-component tools for general Thermoplastic + LSR or LSR + LSR as well as metal insert molding. It gives the product designer maximum flexibility to realize their product with the lowest upfront tooling investment with fewer post-molding secondary operations.
